This idea was to create a CG girl named Sophia (world's most common girl name) that could represent all the non-reported missing cases with children disappearing around the world. There were many aspects of the project that was a first time experience for most of the team. E.g gathering 500 portraits of children from UNICEF´s emergency area database and crafting them into one visage. We also 3D scanned the first girl for the face and then uses a second one for facial motion capture and voiceover during the project.
As I’ve been working with concepts like this one I helped the team to produce on shoots and especially the part when all the files were sent between the visual effects artists, 3D modellers and the compositors. I was also the one creating the overlay of user interface when showcasing the technical parts of how we gathered all the data used as a base for creating the girl.
